The Hudson Yards Project is a transit-oriented mixed use development scheme. It is envisioned to be an 11 acre public landscape in New York City built into a residential and commercial development of 30 acres that is constructed over the top of existing and highly active rail yards. It includes an extension of the No.7 subway line from the Times Square terminus towards 34th Street and 11th Avenue. The development focuses on creating new public parks and open spaces in the Hudson Yards area.
