Description Show more
The Historic Hasty Pudding Theatre (now known as the New College Theatre since its renovation in 2007) is the home of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals, which at 160+ years is the oldest collegiate theatre group in the nation. Built in 1912, the Theatre is not the original home of the Hasty Pudding, which held its first performance in a Harvard University student dormitory in 1844. The Hasty Pudding Theatricals' performances have become famous for their professional quality and wit, and because all of the female characters are played by men in drag.
